Henry Miller Jr. Died Saturday At Blair Hospital

John Henry Miller, Jr., a native of Kennard all of his life died at the Blair hospital last Saturday, January 26th. He was 69 years of age, having been born at Kennard, June 3, 1904. He was a farmer in the Kennard area.

The deceased was a son of the late John Henry Miller, an early-day pioneer of Washington County and especially the Kennard area.

He was a veteran of World War II. His is survived by two brothers, Howard Miller, of Omaha and Ned Miller of Sterling, Virginia.

Funeral services were held at the Campbell Mortuary Monday, January 28th with the Rev. Ray Phelps of the First Christian church of Blair, conducting the service.

Burial was made in the Kennard Cemetery. Pallbearers were Roy Rosenbaum, Lyle Rosenbaum, Ray Rosenbaum, Harlan Christensen Kenneth Hunter and Claude Blankenship.
