Little Goldie Deaver, only child of Mr. S. Deaver, about three miles east of here, was very sick for more than a week with lung fever from which she died last Saturday evening. She would have been 1 year old the first day of May and was an unusually bright and attractive child, a favorite with all who knew her. It is a sad blow to the parents as they had lately moved to a home of their own which will be for them as if the light had gone out. The funeral was held on Monday at the Kindred school house after which she was laid to rest in the Blair cemetery.
