John Miller died at his home in North Blair at 9 o’clock Sunday morning, having been a sufferer with Bright’s disease for over a year. The funeral was held at the German Lutheran church at 1:30 yesterday afternoon, Rev. A. W. Lambrecht officiating. He was born in Germany May 15th, 1864, and was therefore nearing 52 years of age. He came to this country in 1899 and lived in Illinois five years before coming to this county. He lived on a farm over near Kennard, moving to Blair only last month. He was married to Mary Ryan in March, 1903, and his widow is the only surviving relative in this country.

Death Calls John Miller

The death of John Miller, for a number of years a well-known farmer south of Blair, occurred at his home in this city last Sunday morning at 9 o’clock. He had been afflicted with Bright’s disease for a couple of years and his death was not unexpected. He was a native of Germany, coming to American in 1899 and settling in Illinois, five years later coming to this county. He was 52 years of age and leaves a wife to mourn his demise. Rev. A. W. Lambrecht preached the funeral sermon at the German Lutheran church at 1:30 Tuesday P.M.
