Funeral services are Thursday, December 14 at 1 p.m. at Heafey-Heafey-Hoffmann-Dworak-Cutler West Center Chapel in Omaha for Leonard J. Miller of Omaha who died December 11, 1989 at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha. Rev. David B. Spong of Morning Star Lutheran Church is officiating. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Leonard J. Miller, 73 was born December 27, 1915 at Swedeburg, Nebraska to Charles E. and Stella Mills Miller. He grew up in Kennard and lived in Blair before moving to Omaha.

He and his wife, Frances A., were married April 4, 1937.

His accounting work was in the wholesale lumber and new home building business, working for R & R Builders. He retired in 1982.

He is survived by his wife, Frances A.; three daughters, Virginia L. Cover of Billings, Montana; Janet E. Nielsen of Omaha; and Patricia Haynes of Grand Island Nebraska. Two sisters, Dorothy Rogert of Blair and Eva Larsen of Stevensville, Montana; one brother, Earl L. Miller of Omaha; eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter also survive him.

Memorials are suggested to the Nebraska Heart Association or Morning Star Lutheran Church.

Heafey-Heafey-Hoffman-Dworak-Cutler West Center Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
