Services For Lorens Miller Were Saturday

Funeral services for 83 year old Lorens J. Miller were held on Saturday, April 28th, 1979. Mr. Miller died on Thursday, April 26th in the Blair Hospital at the age of 83.

Mr. Miller was born on July 22, 1895 in Burt County. He was married to the former Ida McDonald. He farmed for a number of years and later the couple moved to their home at 1255 Grand Street in Blair.

The services were held at the Campbell Funeral Home at 11 a.m. on Saturday. The Rev. Gene Lee officiated with burial in the Blair Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife Ida; two sons, three daughters, 22 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. The sons are John L. Miller, of Valley; and Kemer Miller of Blair. The daughters are: Mrs. Walter (Marian) Kelley of Blair; Mrs. Vivian Kelley of Blair; Mrs. Ethel Schmidt of Blair.

Brothers and sisters are: Leo Miller, Blair; Joe Miller, Omaha; Mrs. Hans Anderson of Tekamah; Mrs. Lillie Anderson of Tekamah; Mrs. Roland Richter of Blair and Mrs. Bert Spanton of Blair.

Pallbearers were: Robert Schmidt, James Miller, Thomas Kelley, Michael Miller, Kitt Kelley and Mathew Kelley.
