Madeline L. Miller, 90

Madeline L. Miller, 90, of Blair, died Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Blair.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18 at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Blair Cemetery.

Madeline L. Burbank was born Feb. 26, 1919, in Missouri Valley, Iowa, to Winfield N. and Eva May (Farber) Burbank. After growing up in Missouri Valley she married William Leslie Miller on May 22, 1935.

She lived in Iowa and Colorado before settling in Blair in 1952. She worked as a proofreader for the Enterprise newspaper and as an administrative assistant for Larsen Realty. In past years, she was very active at First Christian Church and as president of the Blair Eagles Auxiliary.

Mrs. Miller is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Leslie and Janice Miller of Blair, George and Patricia Miller of Omaha, and daughter and son-in-law, Leota and Bill Cowan of Guernsey, Wyo.; six grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Leslie; and brother, George Burbank.

Memorials are suggested to Good Shepherd Lutheran Community.
