Mrs. George Miller Rites Were Friday

Funeral services were held Friday for Mrs. George Miller, a former Blair resident who has been living at Redondo Beach, California. Mr. and Mrs. Miller left Blair a number of years ago to retire on the coast. Mr. Miller died around ten years ago.

Martha Sophia Miller was born December 25th, 1885 at Decorah, Iowa. She was 86 years of age at her death. While in Blair the Millers lived on south Nineteenth Street south of the Municipal Rose Garden. Mr. Miller was an upholsterer by trade.

Mrs. Miller is survived by three sons and a daughter. The sons are Robert, of Los Angeles; John of Anacortes, Washington, and Nathan of Lake Tahoe, California. The daughter is Mrs. Marian Azevedo, of Redondo Beach.

There are five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Bendorf Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Albers of the First Lutheran Church conducting the service.

Interment was made in the Blair cemetery under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Herman Kay, Rudy Thaden, Andy Winslow, Leonard Ladd, John Watkins and D. M. Hanna.
