SERVICES HELD ON FRIDAY FOR RUTH DECKER

Funeral services for M. Ruth Decker were held Friday, June 13, 1980, at Roeder Mortuary in Omaha. Rev. Jim Hendricksen officiated. Burial was in the Elk City, Nebraska Cemetery.

M. Ruth Decker was born January 16, 1905, in Blair, Nebraska, to James Marvin and Bertha Gertrude (Peck) Gollehon. She was married to Earl R. Decker. She was 75 years old at the time of her death in Omaha.

One brother, Mike Gollehon, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Earl R. Decker, Sr.; two daughters, Mrs. Bob (Betty) Otten of Danville, Califonria, and Mrs. Jerry (Janet) Hoeg of Lincoln, Nebraska; and three sons, E. Robert Decker Jr., Melvin S. (Skip) Decker and Marvin C. (Dusty) Decker, all of Omaha. One sister, Georgiana G. Gaines of Lincoln; five brothers, Clark Gollehon of Shell Knob, Missouri; Robert Gollehon of Billings, Montana; Marvin Gollehon of Duncan, Oklahoma; Walt Gollehon of Lincoln; and Gene Gollehon of Elreno, Oklahoma. Fourteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive her.

Dorthy Jones was soloist at the services.

Pallbearers were Jim Decker, John Decker, Daniel Decker, David Landis, Norman Stanley and Bill Chase.

Memorials may be sent to Fairview Presbyterian Church or the American Cancer Society.

Roeder Mortuary was in charge of arrangements for the services.
