Ruby F. Miller, 83, of Omaha, died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 1999, at her home.

Services were Saturday, Oct. 23, at St. Richard’s Catholic Church in Omaha. Rev. Ken Vavrina officiated. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

She was born Feb. 20, 1916, to Michael and Dagney Madsen in Rutland, Iowa.

On Aug. 28, 1937, she married J. Vincent Miller. She was a homemaker and raised four children. J. Vincent Miller is the owner of Miller-Hereford Ranch in Fort Calhoun.

She is survived by her husband; three sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Darlene Miller of Fort Calhoun; Jim and Melissa Miller of Fort Calhoun; and Dan and Melanie Miller of Omaha; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Robert Decker of Omaha; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Bernice and Jerry Harmening of New Ulm, Minn.; and four brothers and sisters-in-law, Lyle and Christy Madsen of Rochester, Minn.; Dale and Adele Madsen of Essig, Minn.; Walt and Marie Madsen of Omaha; and Carl and Erma Madsen of Omaha.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Eleanor Norton and Agnes Madsen; and a brother, Rudolph Madsen.
