Miller- William E., age 80. Survived by wife, Edna; 2 daughters and son-in-law, Melody McAvin, Julie and Keith Klinger, all of Blair; son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Ellen Miller, Kennard, NE; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.

Services 2 PM Tues. at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church. Burial Holy Cross Cemetery, Blair. Visitation Mon. from 2-5 PM at Funeral Home, 6-8 PM at Church with a Rosary at 7 PM.

William E. Miller, 80, of Blair, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007, at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair. Interment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery.

William E. Miller was born April 12, 1927 in Omaha to William E. and Vernice (Scott) Miller. After his graduation from South High School, he entered the Navy and served in the military during WWII.

On Oct. 15, 1948, he married Edna Yelli in Omaha.

Mr. Miller was self-employed as a painter. The Millers lived in Omaha until 1986, when they moved to the Lakeland area, south of Blair.

He is survived by his wife, Edna; daughters and sons-in-law, Melody McAvin, and Julie and Keith Klinger, all of Blair; son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Ellen Miller of Kennard; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Mike McAvin; and sister, Dianna Almsteier.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
