William Miller Dies April 19 In Orlando, Fla.

Mr. William James Sill Miller, father of Mrs. Earl R. Mezoff, died suddenly on Monday, April 19, 1976, in Orlando, Florida, after a long illness.

Mr. Miller was the only child of William Colvin Miller, M.D., and his wife, the former Carrie Rose Sill.

He was born in Hyndman, Pennsylvania on January 23, 1891. He attended Mercersburg Academy, Peddie Institute and graduated from Lafayette College, Easton, Pa., where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity.

He owned the Miller Advertising Co. of Harrisburg, Pa., worked for the Pathe News and the “Harrisburg Telegraph” and was a retired Sears employee.

For many years he was a faithful member of the Harrisburg Rotary Club.

Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his wife, the former Margaret Eleanor Mates. Survivors are his two daughters, Joan Miller Mezoff of Blair and Nordena Miller Wayman of Orlando, Fla. Also 3 granddaughters, Margaret Mezoff Holman, Patricia C. Mezoff and Nancy Wayman Deutsch. Interment took place in the historic Schellsburg Chestnut Ridge Cemetery, Schellsburg, Pennsylvania.
