W. A. DENISON, 94
Graveside services were held at Filmore Cemetery Monday, January 11 for W. A. Denison, 94 who died in Savannah, Missouri, January 7, 1993 at a health care center.
W. A. Denison was a native of Black, Missouri. He lived in Fort Calhoun from 1939 – 1965. He was a carpenter for Peter Kiewit.
He was of the Baptist faith.
He married Ruth Messick in 1920 at Oregon, Missouri. She preceded him in death in 1988.
He was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, eight brothers, and three sisters.
He is survived by his daughter, Maxine Calkins of Savannah; three grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
Breit & Hawkins Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
