SERVICES HELD IN MINNESOTA FOR GEORGE DENNY

Funeral Services were held on February 7, 1981, for George Denny at the Almlie Funeral Home at Tracy, Minnesota.

George Denny was born in Perkins, Oklahoma, December 25, 1901, to Samuel and Mary (Hudelson) Denny. He passed away at his home in Tracy, Minnesota, February 3, 1981. George moved with his parents and family to Blair, Nebraska in 1903. They farmed in the Vacoma Neighborhood west of Herman, Nebraska, before moving to Lyon County, Minnesota, in February of 1914. He was married to Mary Assen on November 27, 1939, at Minneapolis, Minnesota. They lived on a farm near Russell, Minnesota, before moving to Tracy in 1960.

His wife preceded him in death on May 12, 1971. Also preceding him in death were his parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

He is survived by one sister-in-law, Mrs. Fern Denny of California; and 12 nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends in Minnesota and Nebraska.

George Denny was an uncle of Robert, Ethel, Beulah and Howard Laughlin.

Ethel and Beulah Laughlin and their cousin, Orville Denny, of Murphysboro, Illinois, attended funeral services for their uncle, George Denny at Tracy, Saturday, February 7, 1981.
