Everet Erik Fogelstrom, 82
Everet Erik Fogelstrom, 82, of Blair, died Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at Select Specialty Hospital in Omaha.
Family services will take place at a later date.
Everet Fogelstrom was born Aug. 1, 1931, in Omaha at Immanuel Hospital to Ernst and Evelyn (Ryding) Fogelstrom.
He was raised in Omaha and attended and graduated from North High. After high school, he attended Creighton University and later graduated from Creighton with his pharmacy degree on June 7, 1956.
He was employed for more than 25 years with Immanuel Hospital in Omaha.
He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army beginning Jan. 11, 1951, and was honorably discharged on Jan. 18, 1954.
He enjoyed building his home in Lakeland and wood working for a hobby. He was always known to be very “handy” – fixing things around the home and making wood items for his family.
He is survived by his wife, Mercedes of Blair; son Mark (Kathie) Fogelstrom; daughter Susan (Timothy) Ryan; son Eric (September) Fogelstrom; son Ernst; sister Lucille (Richard) DeRemme; along with several grandchildren and friends.
