REINHARD W. DEPPERMAN, 98

Reinhard W. Depperman, 98, of Fremont, died Monday, Oct. 11, 1999, at the Arbor Manor Living Center.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, 1999, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont. Burial will follow in the Hooper Cemetery.

Reinhard Depperman was born on Aug. 24, 1901, in Washington, Missouri, to Henry and Maria Walkenhort Depperman. He lived his early years in Missouri, and in his late teen-age years, he moved to the Hooper, Nebraska area to work.

On February 6, 1935, Reinhard was married to Irene Burhoop at Bancroft, Nebraska. They farmed southeast of Uehling for 15 years, and then in 1949, moved to Fremont.

He continued some farming around Fremont. He also sold some garden produce, eggs and cream from his home on east Military Street. Reinhard also did some house and farm building painting after moving to Fremont.

He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Fremont and the Lutheran Laymen’s League.

Survivors include one son, Robert and his wife, Barbara Depperman of Kennard; five grandchildren, Cindy Mulder and her children Cathy and Justin; eight great-grandchildren, Ron and his wife Debbie Depperman and their children, Jake and Paige; Steve and his wife Lynn Depperman and their children, Bradley Stubbs and Jessica Stubbs; Karen and her husband Erich Langan and their children, Meggan and Kelsey; and Connie and her husband Jeff Petersen; and a sister, Alvina Walkenhorst of New Haven, Missouri.

Reinhard was proceded in death by his wife, Irene, in September 1981, and by a daughter, three brothers and two sisters.
