Alexander G. Derevjagin, 42 of Blair, died Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009, at his home in Country Estates Park, south of Blair.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Visitation will be held two hours prior to services. Burial of his cremains will be in the Blair Cemetery at a later date.

Alexander G. Derevjagin was born on Nov. 23, 1966, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada to Igor and Susan (Shier) Derevjagin.

He was a loving father to three children and a proud grandpa to one granddaughter. He was a caring son and husband.

Through his life, he had lived in Maryland, California, Colorado and Nebraska.

He loved football games, PlayStation and cooking big Sunday breakfasts.

He is survived by his wife, Anita; three children, Chelsea, Alexander Jr. and Zackery Derevjagin, all of Blair; one granddaughter; mother and stepfather, Susan and Jim Allen of Blair; father, Igor Derevjagin of Rawdon, Quebec, Canada; brother and sister-in-law, Dean and Brenda Derevjagin of San Diego, Calif.; sisters, Jody-Ann Richards of San Diego and Ginger Cunliffe of Cortez, Colo.
