PATRINA A. DERRY, 76

Patrina A. Derry, 76 of Blair, died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2003 at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair.

A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 21, at the St. Francis Worship Center, 238 S. 6th St., in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The Rev. Ben Kenkel will officiate. Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery.

Patrina Ann Derry was born May 22, 1926 in Council Bluffs to Guiseppe and Christiana (Protocollo) Ferrarello.

She graduated in 1944 from Thomas Jefferson High School in Council Bluffs.

She lived from 1965 until 1987 in Blair. After suffering a stroke, she lived in Omaha’s Mercy Care Center from 1987 until 2002, and then moved back to Crowell Home in Blair.

Mrs. Derry was employed as a food service technician at Crowell Home prior to her stroke.

She is survived by two daughters, Connie Derry of Omaha and Cindy Derry of Bellevue; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Greg Derry of Omaha, John and Laurel Derry of Blair, and Scott Derry of Papillion; five grandchildren; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Marian Rindone of Council Bluffs, Mary and Emil Christian of Phoenix, Ariz., Jo Ann and Roger Parker of Marne, Iowa, Helen and Jim Nugent of Council Bluffs, and Jeanne and Gene O’Hara of Hemet, Calif.; and one step-brother, Virgil Proffitt of Escondido, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John S. Derry; sister, Christine Mercer; brother, Paul Ferrarello; and one step-brother, Lawrence Proffitt.

Cutler-O’Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home in Council Bluffs is in charge of arrangements.
