Claar Millrons Died at Hospital Wednesday Morning

Claar Millrons, 77-year-old Blair man died Wednesday forenoon at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair. Mr. Millrons, a long-time resident of Blair, lived at 1019 Washington Street, Blair.

As a young man, he served in World War I and later entered the Postal Service, working at the Blair post office as a mail clerk and mail carrier for many years.

After retiring from the postal service, he was employed by the Kelly Ryan Equipment Co.

He is survived by his wife, Edna and by two sons and three daughters.

The sons are Allison of Blair, and John, who is in the Air Force, stationed in England. The daughters are Mary Jane Hadcock of Pilger, Nebraska; Harriet Bunker and June Spangrud, both of Portland, Oregon. A stepdaughter, Lila Goodrow, lives in South Carolina.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. t the First Christian Church and burial will be made in the Blair Cemetery. The Campbell Mortuary is in charge.

Services For Claar Millrons Last Saturday

Funeral services were held for Claar Millron, last Saturday, September 13th following his death on Wednesday, September 10th at the Blair Hospital.

The deceased, a retired postal employee, lived at 1019 Washington Street in Blair. He is survived by his wife, Edna and by two sons and four daughters.

The sons are Allison Millrons, of Blair; John Millrons, who is in the United States Air Force. The daughters: Mary Jane Hadcock, of Pilger, Nebr.; Harriet Bunker, of Portland, Oregon; June Spangrud, Portland, Oregon and Lila Goodroe, of South Carolina.

There are 14 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the First Christian Church with the Rev. Ray Phelps conducting the service. Burial was made in the Blair cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary.

Pallbearers were Lennie Jarman, Roger Ward, Allan Ward, Elvin Grell, Don Edson and Etlar Olsen.
