Services are Tuesday, February 16 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota for Ann Minell, 67, who died February 12, 1993 at her Minneapolis home. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery.

Ann Minell was born November 7, 1925 at Estherville, Iowa to Charles and Isabelle Flavan Spies. She grew up in the Emmetsburg, Iowa area.

She graduated from the College of St. Catherine in St.Paul, Minnesota. A homemaker, she was a volunteer librarian at Our Lady of Victory School in Minneapolis.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Richard.

She is survived by her husband, R. Mario; children, Mary Bonath, Charles, Phillip, Ann Johnson, Jane, Christina, Robert, Cathy, Daniel and Bridget; sisters, Jane Johnston, Mary Isabelle Hart, Charles Spies, John Spies, Mary B. Sully, Robert Spies, Thomas Spies and Elisabeth Finnigan; several grandchildren; nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
