Clifford D. Miner, 81, of Blair, died Wednesday, May 24, 2006, at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Friday, May 26, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Interment will be in the Blair Cemetery. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service.

Clifford D. Miner was born April 13, 1925, at Laurel to Bailey and Hulda (Chadaquist) Miner. He served in the United States Army during World War II.

He spent most of his life in the Omaha and Blair area where he worked for Fruehauf for 22 years. He had lived at Good Shepherd Home for the past five years.

He enjoyed fishing, loved animals, and enjoyed going for rides.

He is survived by four children, David Miner and Dale Miner, both of Omaha, Linda Gibbs of Columbus, and Theresa Miner of Fremont; nine grandchildren; great-grandchildren; a brother, Ray Miner of Wisconsin.

He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
