George Misfeldt was born May 24, 1906 on the farm near Washington, Nebraska to Henry and Margaret Gottsch Misfeldt.

He farmed near Washington, retiring in 1975.

He married Verna Knudsen at her parents’ home near Washington on June 3, 1931. She preceded him in death in 1972.

On January 4, 1975 he married Marjorie Dahl Steinert at Salem Lutheran Church in Fremont. They made their home in Fremont.

He was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; a son and daughter-in-law, Daryl and Rayma Lee Misfeldt; a daughter and son-in-law, LeMara and Henry Eicke, all of Washington, Nebraska; a step-daughter and her husband, Marcia and Clifford Smith, Goodland, Kansas; sister, Helen Misfeldt, Carson City, California; a sister and her husband, Kathryn Mae and Richard Andrews, Omaha; a brother and his wife, Howard and Ann Misfeldt, Billings, Montana; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
