A memorial service was held Tues., Sept. 17 in Billings, Mont. For Howard “Bud” Misfeldt, 78, who died September 12, 1996.

Howard Misfeldt was born Aug. 17, 1918 in the Washington, Neb. area, the youngest child of Henry and Margaret Gottsch Misfeldt.

He was a World War II veteran and lived in Omaha, Rapid City, S.D. and Billings, working in the heating business.

He is survived by his wife, Anna; sisters, Helen Misfeldt of Carson, Calif. and Mae (Mrs. Richard) Andrews of Omaha and many nieces and nephews in the Washington County area and in California.
