Rayma L. Misfeldt, 72

Rayma L. Misfeldt, 72, of Washington, died suddenly Nov. 10, 2006, at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha.

Funeral services are 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, at Hadan-Golden-Reichmuth Mortuary in Bennington. Interment will be at Prairie View Cemetery in Washington.

Rayma Lee Robinette was born Dec. 9, 1933, in Rockport, Mo., to Wheeler and Doris G. (Gutrich) Robinette. Along with her mother and stepfather, she moved several times while she was a young girl, but finally settled in Omaha, where she graduated from South High School in 1952.

On Sept. 12, 1953, she married Daryl Misfeldt.

The couple spent the five years after their wedding building their own house in Washington. They completed the house and moved into it in November 1958, and have lived there ever since.

Mrs. Misfeldt took great pride in raising her three sons, and also loved tending to her garden, and making crafts. She was fascinated with different sorts of horticultural projects, and traveled all over Nebraska and several other states with her good friend, Theresa Opfer, searching for exotic flowers and trees. In her later years, she loved being with her grandchildren, and exploring with them all things of nature.

She is survived by her husband, Daryl; sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Debbie Misfeldt, David and Sarah Misfeldt, and Christopher and Janie Misfeldt; and seven grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to the Arbor Day Foundation.
