| Sadie Ella Becraft was born Dec. 17, 1865, died Oct. 12, 1901, aged thirty-five years, nine months and twenty-five days. She became a member of the Christian church at Kennard, Neb., in early life in which faith she lived and was married to Robert H. Marple, Dec. 5, 1887. From this union seven children were born, four sons and three daughters, all of whom excepting one son remain with the husband and father, her father, Mr. George Becraft, a brother and a sister to mourn her departure. The funeral services were conducted at the Christian church on Monday afternoon by the pastor, Elder A.D. Finch, where a large concourse of people, mostly neighbors and acquaintances met to testify their respect for the deceased and sympathy with the bereaved. The interment was in the Blair cemetery.
