Services were Tuesday, April 6 at Reichmuth Funeral Home in Valley for Willard J. Misfeldt, 76 of Waterloo who died April 2, 1993 at Waterloo. Rev. Jack Sample officiated. Burial was at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Elkhorn.

Masonic services were conducted Monday by members of the Waterloo Masonic Lodge No. 102 AF & AM.

Willard J. Misfeldt was born August 3, 1916 in Kennard. He attended Sunnyside School near Kennard and graduated from Kennard High School.

He was owner-operator of Misfeldt Hardware Store in Waterloo from 1948-1958. He was then custodian at Waterloo Public Schools for 23 years.

He married Shirley Peekenschneider August 3, 1969 in Valley. She survived.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

He is also survived by a stepson, Michael Knapp of Omaha and a sister, Violet Johnsen of Dresser, Wisconsin.

Pallbearers were Jeff Buker, Michael Evans, Scot Harper, Dale Johnsen, Marty Misfeldt, Danny Mohr, Lane Rogers and Melvin Truhlsen.

Music was by John and Jean Love.

Memorials may go to the Waterloo Rescue Squad or the church.
