Mrs. C. E. Mock Died July 24th

Mrs. C. E. Mock, a former Kennard resident, passed away July 24th at a hospital in Nebraska City. She was 68 years of age.

Mrs. Mock was born Marguerite Ellen Denton at Kennard January 27, 1885. The family lived there for a number of years.

She was married January 1, 1916, to Clarence E. Mock at Billings, Montana, and to this union five children were born. The family resided for a time at Rygate, Montana, and also lived at Kennard, Ulysses, Craig, Omaha and Nebraska City.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband and three daughters, Catherine Elizabeth Andrew, of Herman, Frances Jean, Pastory and Marguerite Ellen Carlson, of Omaha and two sons, Clarence E. Mock, of Tekamah and Robert C. Mock of Salem, Oregon. Two sisters and a brother also survive.

Mrs. Mock taught for a number of years in the schools of this county and is well known to many.

Funeral services were held at Nebraska City July 26th and burial was made in the Kennard Cemetery.
