Services are held for Mrs. Moeller

Funeral services were conducted at Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, May 30th, for Amanda M. Moeller, 77, who passed away at the Methodist Hospital in Omaha on May 27th. Services were conducted by Reverend Doug Darnold.

Pallbearers were Russell Ritchie, Arthur Lorsch, Bruce DeMartino, Richard Mester, Arnold Moeller, and Richard Larsen.

Amanda was born to Clara and John Henrichsen on April 8, 1907 on a farm west of Fort Calhoun. She graduated from Fort Calhoun High School in 1927 and was married to Rudy Moeller on April 6, 1932. She lived most of her life in the 72nd and Rainwood area, and after the death of her husband she moved to Fort Calhoun, where she lived for the past twelve years. Mrs. Moeller was baptized and was a faithful member of Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church. She also was a member of the Eldeen Extension Club for several years.

Survivors include two sisters, Marie Henrichsen and Mrs. Alvin (Clara) Ohrt; one brother, Arthur Henrichsen; nephew and niece, Gene and Kathy Ohrt and their children, Amy, Annette and Adam; all of Fort Calhoun; and a very dear friend Al Reeh of Blair.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Rudy Moeller, and a sister, Ella Abendroth.
