VERA M. TAMISIEA, 96
Services were held Monday, August 5 at St. Franics Borgia Catholic Church for Vera M. Tamisiea, age 96 of Blair who died at the Good Shepherd Home August 2, 1991. Burial was in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Missouri Valley, Iowa.
Vera Hutchinson was born on April 19, 1895 at Loveland, Iowa to John and Theresa Copeland Hutchinson. She married Felix Tamisiea September 2, 1914. They farmed in Pottawattamie County until retirement at which time they moved to California Junction and then to Blair.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Felix in January, 1980; four sons, two sons-in-law, four sisters and one brother.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Esther Searl, Omaha and Mrs. Joyce Pelsue, Tempe, Arizona; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Norma Tamisiea, Missouri Valley, Iowa; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
