VICTOR W. TANGA, 65

Victor W. Tanga, 65, of rural Blair, died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2001, at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha.

Funeral services were held Monday, March 5 at Westside Church in Omaha with the Rev. Tony Lambert officiating. Interment was at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Omaha.

Victor Ward Tanga was born March 1, 1935, in Omaha to James and Eunice (Burwick) Tanga. Mr. Tanga was self-employed as a roofer for a roofing company.

He is survived by his wife, Carol; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Ed Drobny; sons and daughter-in-law, David and Sharol Tanga and Mike Ludwig; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Lois and Ray Workman and Linda Dawson; mother-in-law, Emmy Mellen; sister-in-law, Lois Schmidt; brother-in-law, Hank Schmidt; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorials are suggested to Make-A-Wish Foundation or to the Arthritis Foundation. Roeder Mortuary in Omaha was in charge of arrangements.
