Rev. Lloyd V. Mohnkern, 95, died Sunday, Feb. 21, 1999, at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair.

Memorial services are pending at the Crowell Memorial Home Chapel.

Lloyd V. Mohnkern was born Dec. 26, 1904, to D. Lewis and Elizabeth Ellen (Boardman) Mohnkern in Oil City, Pa.

He served as a pastor in the United Methodist Church for 62 years. He served 17 years in Pennsylvania, 25 years in Nebraska, and 14 years in Colorado plus an additional 18 months there full time.

He is survived by his wife, Mary, a resident of Crowell Home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gerald and Beverly Ann Mohnkern of Hillsboro, Ore., and John and Barbara Ellen Mohnkern of Mira Lomo, Calif.; granddaughter, Susan and husband, Philip Cullinan; two great-granddaughters, Andrea and Cullinan; grandson, Mark and wife, Michele Mohnkern; grandson, Scott and wife, Shelly Mohnkern; and brother-in-law, L. Keith and wife, Nora Illk.
