CHARLES TAYLOR, 83

Charles Taylor, 83, of Schuyler, died Friday, July 10, at the Schuyler Nursing Center.

Services were Monday, July 13, at the Kracl Funeral Chapel in Schuyler, with Rev. Don Legacie officiating. Burial was in the Rosehill Cemetery in Orum.

Charles Taylor was born Feb. 26, 1915, in Washington County to John and Emma (Anderson) Taylor. He attended Washington County Schools.

On Nov. 20, 1949, he married Lorraine Mundorf at the Baptist Church in Blair.

They farmed until 1967 when they purchased the Sky Motel in Schuyler. He also worked as a janitor at Schuyler High School for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Lorraine, of Schuyler; two daughters, Marlene “Marty” Mejstrik of Schuyler; and Barbara “Bart” Crosnoe of Alta, Iowa; one son, Jay Taylor of Axtell; two brothers; one sister and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.

Memorials are suggested to Bethpage Mission in Axtell.
