SERVICES TO BE HELD APRIL 1 FOR HAROLD TAYLOR

Services will be held Friday, April 1, at 2 p.m., at the First Baptist Church in Blair for Harold E. Taylor who died Tuesday, March 29 at the Good Shepherd Home. Reverend James Metzgar will conduct the services. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Harold E. Taylor who was 75 at the time of his death, was born August 1, 1901, in Blair to Mr. and Mrs. John H. Taylor. He was married to Adeline Carlson April 15, 1925, at the Chapel of Crowell Home in Blair.

During his lifetime in the Blair area, Harold Taylor farmed until his retirement. He served as a member of the Rose Hill School Board and the Sutherland School Board for several years. He was also an active member of First Baptist Church for many years. A member of the Masons, Mr. Taylor was a Royce Arch Mason who received his fifty year pin.

He is survived by his wife Adeline; three sons, William H. Taylor of Oakland; James P. Taylor and Stanley C. Taylor, both of Blair; and two daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Jean) Kuehl and Mrs. Peggy Anderson, both of Blair.

Three sisters, Mrs. Hattie Williamson of Uehling, Mrs. Chris Ruwe , Hooper, and Mrs. John Rasmussen, Blair.

Five brothers, John Taylor and Clifford Taylor of Fremont; Charles Taylor, Schuyler; and Russell Taylor and Howard Taylor, both of Blair; nineteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive him.

Pallbearers will be Bruce Rasmussen, Steven Taylor, Bradley Taylor, William Taylor Jr., Jeff Anderson and Calvin Taylor.

Bendorf Funeral home is in charge of arrangements for the services.
