A wake service was held Saturday, April 9, at Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Funeral Chapel in Fremont for Clara E. Mohr, 64, of Nickerson, who died of cancer at her home April 6, 1983.

The Rev. Frank Bognanno officiated. Her body was donated to medical science.

Clara E. Mohr was born March 10 1919, in Spirit Lake, Iowa. She was raised at Milford, Iowa, and lived in Butte, Nebraska, before moving to Fremont in 1955. In 1956, she moved to Nickerson and was a bookkeeper for Mohr Tractor Company from 1956 until it was sold in 1968.

She married Clarence Mohr on September 29, 1941, at Yuma, Arizona. He survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, Jo Anne Kohn of Glenwood, Iowa; and Mrs. Jean Miller of North Platte, Nebraska; one son, Wayne Mohr of Casper, Wyoming; three sisters, Mrs. Loretta Fogarty of West Bend, Iowa; Mrs. Gertrude Wedel of Spencer, Iowa; and Mrs. Dorothy Montag of Nora Springs, Iowa; two brothers, Bernard and Clarence Reiman, both of Milford, Iowa.
