FORMER BLAIR WOMAN BURIED HERE TOMORROW

Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Clarence McCormick tomorrow afternoon (Friday) at the First Christian Church in Fremont and burial will follow in the Blair cemetery.

Mrs. McCormick will be remembered by many of the older residents. The family lived at Eighteenth and South streets for many years. Mr. McCormick was a carpenter in Blair and later became fireman and custodian of the Blair City Schools.

Leone Frances McCormick was born December 25th, 1887 at Herman and she lived in this area until after she was married and her family was grown. She was married to Clarence McCormick June 2, 1905. After making their home in Blair for many years, the family moved to Omaha where Mr. McCormick died in 1946.

Mrs. McCormick is survived by six daughters and five sons.

The daughters are Mrs. Thelma Springgate of Grand Blanc, Michigan; Mrs. Opal Wilkins, of Fremont; Mrs. Paul Fackler (Mildred) of Blair; Mrs. Henry Meador (Jeanette) of Fremont; Mrs. John Frazier (Grace) of Alta Loma, California; and Mrs. Vern King (Lois) of Sargent, Nebraska.

The sons are Pat, of West Minster, Colorado; George of Everett, Washington; Norman, San Bernardino, California; Glenn, Oakland, California; and William, North Chatanooga, Tenn.

There are 16 grandchildren and 14 great-granchildren. A brother, Edward Moffitt, lives at Independence, Oregon.

Following the funeral services in Fremont, burial will be made in the Blair cemetery. The Rev. E. Phil Dubbs will conduct the services.
