Corrine F. Nelsen, 61

Corrine Nelsen, 61 of Onalaska, Texas, died Nov. 4, 2001, at Livingstone, Texas. Memorial services were Sunday, Nov. 18, at the Church of the Nazarene in Keokuk, Iowa, with the Rev. Grant Foster officiating.

Corrine Fay Nelsen was born Sept. 8, 1940, in Broadwater, Neb., to Leonard and Arlene Hynie, and was raised as a member of the family of Al and Flora Miller. They preceded her in death.

She graduated from Sidney High School.

On June 14, 1958, she married Ronald Nelsen. After her marriage, she attended Nazarene Bible College in Colorado Springs, Colo. She served in the ministry with her husband for 33 years. Rev. and Mrs. Nelsen pastored at the Church of the Nazarene in Keokuk for 8½ years, and also at several church in Nebraska.

Mrs. Nelsen enjoyed working in the ministry, spending time with her grandchildren, and going to the desert in Arizona.

She is survived by her sons, Darold Nelsen of Waterloo, Iowa, Charles Nelsen of Austin, Texas, daughters, Audrey Merschbrock of Spring Hill, Kan,, and Rebekah Anderson of Olathe, Kan., three grand-daughters, and one step-grandson, two brothers and three sisters, Tom Hynie of Orlando, Fla., Janet Bult of Hampton, Ga., Patty Fales of Las Vegas, Nev., Harvey Miller of Sedalia, Mo., and Marsha Painter of Bassett.
