Services for Agnes Nelson, 99 of Blair who died December 30, 1995 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home were Wednesday, January 3 at First Lutheran Church in Blair. Burial was in the Kennard Cemetery.

Agnes Nelson was born October, 9, 1896 at Kennard to Carl and Cecelie Frederickson Lauritsen. She was baptized and confirmed at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard and attended school in Kennard.

In 1914, she moved to Blair, where she lived until the time of her death.

She had worked for the Lutheran Publishing House.

On August 4, 1954, she married Alfred Nelson in Blair. He preceded her in death on December 26, 1982.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Louis Lauritsen and Nels Lauritsen and one sister, Alice Lauritsen.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
