Deborah Nelson Dies Tuesday At Age Of 27

27 year old Mrs. Deborah A. Nelson died on Tuesday, March 6th, at the Blair Hospital. She died following a lengthy illness of cancer.

Services are planned for 11 a.m. on Friday, March 9th, at the First Lutheran Church in Blair. Rev. John Petersen will officiate with Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Deborah Nelson was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, on March 10, 1951. She was married to the late Kent Nelson who was killed in Council Bluffs several weeks ago. The couple had been farming and living on Route 1, Herman.

Mrs. Nelson is survived by her two children Amy and Ryan Nelson of Herman. Surviving parents are Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Pedersen of Council Bluffs and Mr. and Mrs. Shurley Nelson of Herman. Surviving brother-in-law is Mark Nelson and sister-in-law Jill Nelson of Herman.

Brothers and sisters are: Dan and Dean, of Council Bluffs and Mrs. Denise Guild of Council Bluffs.

Pallbearers will be Lynn Sass, Lyle Schjodt, Jeff Jorgensen, James Mann, Larry Hansen, and Carl Rennerfeldt.
