NELLIE M. TAYLOR, 85

Nellie Taylor, 85, of Orum, died on Saturday, Aug. 26, 2000. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 29, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair.

Nellie M. Taylor was born on Dec. 2, 1914, in rural Spiker, to Cassius and Addie (Neff) Spiker. She attended the Brodersen and Herman High School.

On April 29, 1934, she married Howard “Pete” Taylor in Blair. She lived in the Orum and Spiker area her entire life.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Howard L. and Linda Taylor; and Douglas and Susan Taylor, all of Blair; one daughter, Susan Davison of Alpharetta, Ga.; grandchildren, David and wife Terri Taylor; Amy and husband David Mahoney, Anne and Husband Brian Hampton; Paul Taylor, Alexas and husband Chris Marbury; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband; brothers, Chester, Lloyd, Leroy, and infant brother, Cecil Spiker.

Memorials are suggested to the Blair Rescue Squad.
