Funeral services for Robert E. Mohr, 74, of Omaha, were held Tuesday, May 28, 2002, at First Lutheran Church in Blair. Interment was in the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Omaha. Mr. Mohr died Saturday, May 25, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center Hospital in Omaha.

Robert E. Mohr was born Nov. 26, 1927, in rural Washington County to Ernest and Minnie (Berner) Mohr. He attended the Wranch School District No. 25.

On Feb. 19, 1955, he married Gladys Switzer in Omaha. They lived on the farm where he was born.

Mr. Mohr served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He later served on the Wranch School Board, Washington County Fair Board, was a member of the Nebraska Cattlemen’s Association, Blair V.F.W., was a past member of the Blair Eagles, and was a dealer for Archer Oil for more than 40 years. He enjoyed going to breakfast with local neighbors in Blair.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys; daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Larry Landon of Logan, Iowa, Cindy and Ken Kerstetter of Kennard, Charlene and Wayne Queen of Omaha, and Renee and Steve Olsen of Blair; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; twin brother, William, and wife Dorothy Mohr; sister, Helen Mohr, all of Omaha; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
