Harlan L. Moll, 83

Harlan L. Moll, 83, of Fremont, died Friday, Oct. 6, 2000, at the Fremont Area Medical Center in Fremont.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 10, at the first Lutheran Church in Fremont. The Rev. Mark Grorud and the Rev. Anjanette Rist will officiate. Interment will be at Memorial Cemetery.

Harland L. Moll was born Nov. 17, 1916, to Louis and Ida (Schuett) Moll on the farm near Hooper, northeast of Winslow, in Washington County, where he grew up.

He was baptized, confirmed, and on Feb. 1, 1939, he was married, all in the Immanuel Lutheran Church, east of Winslow. Mr. Moll was married to Darleen Timme.

He farmed all his working years east of Winslow in Dodge County. In 1982, he retired, and they moved into Fremont.

Mr. Moll was a long-time member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and its Lutheran Laymen’s League. After moving into Fremont, he became a member of First Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Darleen, a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Larry Popken of Hooper, a son and daughter-in-law, Leo and Kathy Moll of Fremont; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, a brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Beth Moll of Fremont, and a sister-in-law, Rachel Timme of Fremont.

Memorials are suggested to First Lutheran Church.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Schlecht, and a sister, Norma Panning.

Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont is in charge of arrangements.
