Graveside services were held Monday, Nov. 25, 2002, at the Blair Cemetery for William C. “Sam” Taylor, 64, of Blair. Mr. Taylor died at his home on Thursday, Nov. 21.

William C. Taylor was born Nov. 16, 1938, at York County, S.C., to Leonard and Ovalene (Merritt) Taylor. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1956 until retiring in 1980.

On Dec/ 22. 1989, he married BenNetta Braun in Bellevue.

He is survived by his wife, BenNetta; daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Brent Tierney of Blair; Julie and Bruce Kreikemeier of Lincoln; three grandchildren; brothers, Tony, Jack and Steve; sisters, Ellen, Sue and Net of North Carolina; sons, David and William of Bellevue.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
