Larry M. Graver, 76, of Fremont, formerly of Arlington, died Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at Bergan Mercy Medical Center in Omaha.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 2, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Arlington. Interment will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery at Arlington.

Visitation with family receiving friends will be Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Larry M. Graver was born March 21, 1938, in Burt County near Uehling, to Louis M. and Frieda H. (Popken) Graver.

He was raised in the Hooper area and moved to West Point, Papillion, and Arlington in 1974 and to Fremont in November 2013.

He graduated from Uehling High School in Uehling in 1955.

He married Sharon Kay Dickmeyer on Oct. 14, 1961, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Arlington. She preceded him in death on July 30, 2010.

He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Arlington.

He is survived by sons and their wives: Jeff and Amy Graver of Fremont, Terry and Suzy Graver of Elkhorn and Lonnie and Stacey Deterding-Graver of Gretna; daughter Shelli and husband Tim Ferguson of Fremont; brother James Graver of Omaha; sisters: Doris Noonen of Omaha and Norma Graver of Cupertino, Calif.; brothers-in-law: Ron (Carol) Dickmeyer and Don Dickmeyer, all of Omaha, and Steve (Jo) Dickmeyer of Lincoln; sister-in-law Vicky (Dan) Shurtleff of Green River, Wyo.; grandchildren: Nathan Graver of Fremont, Sydney and Brett Graver of Elkhorn, Landon, Mason, Evynn, and Elayne Graver of Gretna and Ethan and Wesley Ferguson of Fremont; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Sharon; and an infant sister.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Arlington and to the Arlington Public Schools Foundation.

FUNERAL SERVICE will be 10:30am, Saturday, August 2, 2014 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Arlington. The Rev. Rick Kanoy and Rev. Jason Duley will officiate. VISITATION with family receiving friends on Friday from 3-8pm at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont and one hour prior to service at the church. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery at Arlington.
