MARYLIS ANNE TEVES

Marylis Anne Teves of Texas died July 7, 1999 in Blair. A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 12, at the Blair Cemetery.

Visitation will be July 9, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and July 10 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Geo. H. Lewis and Sons Funeral Home in Houston, Texas.

Marylis Anne Teves was born and raised in Blair. She graduated from Blair High School and went to Cottey College in Nevada, Mo. for one year.

She graduated from the University of Nebraska’s School of Nursing, receiving her bachelor of science degree in Lincoln.

A 40-year resident of Texas, she divided her time between House and Cape Royale on Lake Livingston at Coldspring.

She was a member of Chapter DB PEO Sisterhood of Houston, Texas, and enjoyed reading and music.

She is survived by her husband, William Teves of Houston, Texas; brother, Walter Gutschow of Lawrenceville, NJ; three sisters-in-law; and 10 nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Verna Gutschow; and brother, Joseph James Gutschow.

Memorials are suggested to a charity of choice.
