MONDAMIN NATIVE DIED IN ARIZONA THURSDAY, MAR. 18

Edwin L. Terrell, a native of Mondamin, Iowa, died at Phoenix, Arizona, Thursday, March 18. He was 72 years of age, having been born at Mondamin on April 7, 1904.

He grew to manhood in the Mondamin area but moved to California in 1935. He has been employed by the Kaiser Aluminum plant for the past 16 years.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille and by two daughters, Mrs. Juanita Fisher and by Mrs. Georgia Quigg, both of Santa Fe, New Mexico. A brother, George Terrell resides at Placerville, California and another brother, Marchal Terrell lives at Newark, California.

There are two sisters, Mrs. Bettie Monson, of Oakland, Cal.; and Mrs. Cora Daniels of Newark, California.

Mr. Terrell was interested in Grange work. He was a member of the Orchard City, Cal. Grange No. 333 and was past Master of several Grange chapters in the Pomona, California area.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 23 with burial made at San Jose, California.

ED L. TERRELL DIED IN ARIZONA

Mr. Edwin L. Terrell died in Phoenix, Arizona on March 18th at the age of 71. He is survived by his wife Lucille Terrell of San Jose, California and two step daughters, Mrs. Juanita Fisher of Salinas and Mrs. Georgia Quigg of San Jose. He also has 5 step-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

He was born in Iowa and grew up in Blair. He was an active member of Grange and served as Master in San Jose.

Interment was in San Jose on March 23rd.

The Terrell family lived in Blair during the late 1930’s.
