PAMELA L. TAMBORSKI, 56

Pamela L. Tamborski, 56, of Blair, died Thursday, Jan. 22, 2009, in Blair.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Omaha.

Visitation begins at noon on Tuesday, Jan. 27, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 7 p.m.

Pamela L. Habell was born Sept. 11, 1952, in East Chicago, Ind., to Robert and Anne Habell. She was raised in Hammond, Ind., graduated from Clark High School, attended St. Joseph’s College, wedded, and raised three children in Schereville, Ind.

Her employment of 24 years at Munster (Ind.) Community Hospital as an emergency room coordinator was demanding, critical and very rewarding.

Her unending amount of love and devotion to her three children, mother, and eight sisters and brothers was truly bottomless. Family and friends were always put first and she always put herself last. She was most happy when she could give help and share herself with all.

Active involvement with her church made her glow, along with 1960s oldies music, M&M peanut candies, White Castle hamburgers, cappuccinos, the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs. Her favorite color, green, stood for warm spring, sun-filled fun days. She was truly beautiful in how she touched and enriched all lives within her reaching rays of sunshine.

She is survived by her three children, Michael Tamborski of Norman, Okla.; Jayme, Jimmy and one grandson, Drake Bales, of Crete, Ill.; and Patrick Tamborski of Lemont, Ill.; eight sisters and brothers and their spouses, Justine and Dick Bobos, and Robert and John Massack, all of Indiana; Robert and Eva Habell, Peter and Danielle Habell, Loris and Robin Hill, and Matthew and Debbie Habell, all of California; David and Karen Habell of Florida; and Bryan and Chantelle Habell of Nebraska.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
