Peter Nelsen Dead

Peter Nelsen, known particularly by the children as the “milk man”, died at his home in Kennard Monday night at 11:00 o’clock from a paralytic stroke. Mr. Nelsen had delivered his milk at six o’clock as usual, and a short time after he was stricken. His daughters who live in Omaha and other relatives were notified and came at once. The funeral was postponed on account of a son who lives in the east not getting here until Friday and the funeral was held at 10:00 this Saturday morning at the Methodist church, Rev. Lane of Blair officiating.

Mr. Nelsen was a good and honest citizen and will be greatly missed by the people of Kennard. Mr. Nelsen had been in the dairy business since coming to Kennard about three years ago, and his visits were looked forward to by not only the grown-ups, but also the little children, even the babies watched for him on his daily visits, and knew him a block away, and he was never in too much of a hurry to visit with the children when they would greet him.
