WILSON J. TEETERS DIES JULY 9th

Wilson J. Teeters, age 87, of Decatur, passed away late Saturday night, July 9th, 1988 at his Decatur home. Wilson was born on January 19th, 1901 at Auburn, Nebraska to Wilson J. and Katherine (Herron) Teeters.

Wilson was married to Ruth Tucker on November 4th, 1954 at Fremont, Nebraska. A mechanic by trade, he worked and lived in Omaha for some time. He retired in 1970.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Teeters of Decatur; one son, Clarence Teeters of Decatur; two daughters: Ethel Phillips of Decatur and Wilma Letheby of Lincoln; three stepsons: Kenneth Norwood of Omaha, Donald Norwood of Blair, and Robert Norwood of Guthrie Center, Iowa; one step-daughter, Margaret Brown of Portland, Oregon; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; one brother, Ray Teeters of Arapahoe, Nebraska; several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 12th, 1988 at the Hamel & Peck Funeral Home in Tekamah with Rev. Marion H. Knoell officiating. Interment was in the Lyons Cemetery at Lyons, Nebraska. Arrangements were handled by the Hamel & Peck Funeral Home in Tekamah.
