Gordon L. Nelson, 63

Gordon L. Nelson, 63, of Commerce City, Colo., died Oct. 23, 2002, at Porter Hospice following a short illness.

Gordon L. Nelson was born May 2, 1939, in Tekamah. He moved to Derby, Colo., in 1955. He graduated from Adams City High School in 1956, and lived most of his life in Commerce City.

On June 26, 1960, he married Carolyne Tilson in Blair. The couple moved to Commerce City, where they have lived ever since.

Mr. Nelson loved watching the Denver Broncos football team and NASCAR racing.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyne; and two daughters, Lisa and Lora; father, Arthur; three grandchildren; brothers, Layton and Roger, and sisters, Kathy and Patty.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy.

Aspen Mortuary in Commerce City was in charge of arrangements.
