Father of Blair Men Died Monday

Gust W. Nelson, 76, of Oakland, Nebraska, died Monday in the Oakland hospital. He was the father of Gus and Emery Nelson who operate the Nelson Brothers Clothiers in Blair.

Mr. Nelson had been in business in Oakland for many years. In recent years, a son, Merlin, had been associated with him in the operation of a food store.

He is survived by his wife and four sons, Vincent, of Fairbury, Gus and J. Emery Nelson, of Blair, and Merlin, of Oakland. There are eleven grandchildren.

Funeral services are being held today (Thursday) at the First Evangelical Covenant Church in Oakland with interment in the Oakland cemetery.
