MRS. SINE PETERSEN DIES AT HOME NEAR WASHINGTON

Mrs. Sine Petersen died at her home in Washington, Nebraska, April 8, after an illness of short duration. The deceased was born in Denmark July 2, 1856 and came to Washington county forty-six years ago. She was married in 1883 and to this union six children were born, all of whom survive. She had lived in Washington county for many years and was well acquainted.

She leaves to mourn her loss, two sons, Louie and Peter; and four daughters, Mrs. Mary Mommsen and the Misses Louisa, Anna and Dagmar. Two grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were held from the home last Wednesday afternoon, the Rev. Knud Larsen of Kennard and the Rev. Reinertsen of Orum officiating, after which burial was made in Prairie View cemetery near Washington.

Mrs. Charley Peterson passed away Easter Sunday and the funeral was held Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Petersen was past 72 years old and has been a resident of Washington for many years. She leaves to mourn her death six children and two grandchildren. Washington and vicinity extend deepest sympathy to the bereaved ones.

The death of Mrs. Chas. Petersen of Washington, Neb., occurred last Sunday and funeral services were held in Washington Wednesday, April 11. Burial was made in the Danish cemetery. A more complete obituary will be given next week.
